Happy almost end of summerrrr, I can’t believe it’s almost over #crazy! I don’t know about you but I feel like summer has flown by and I am in no way ready for it to end. Maybe you are soooo ready for summer to end and get back to a routine, friends, college, or school. Either way I hope that this summer you have grown and done some fun things. I love the free-ness that summer brings to make spontaneous plans, spend quality time with friends/family, and live life to the fullest.
Over the last 2 months (really 2 weeks but for the sake of spenders guilt) I have made a few purchases….. Maybe a little more than a few but I have listed a few of them. In the wise words of my friend Megan “right now being broke is cool because we are in college” so we will just go with that. The other side of her quote was “but that won’t be cool much longer” but we won’t go there yet, any hoo I’m excited to share a few of them with you and maybe they will become some of your recent purchases as well.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm
I bought this lip gloss a few weeks ago and shared them on the @feelthesmile instagram stories. I am so picky about lip gloss, lipstick, lip stain, all the things because it will look one way in the tube and it’s like a magic trick between the applicator and my lips because the color just never looks the same lol I have started to really prefer lip gloss over lipstick especially during the summer to go with a dewy look. I got these shoes recently after losing by old berks which I lovedddd. I had seen people wearing a platform berk look and was like where’s the checkout because I need those. My friend had a pair and had such great things to say so of course I was sold. These are PERFECT for the beach, casual wear, or paired with a midi dress. They are the rubber material that you can just rinse off after being in the sand and this also makes them so easy to clean. To be ~authentic~ I will say they do rub a little when you first begin to wear them but once you get through that spot they are glorioussss. They have so many great colors and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a summer/transitional casual shoe
Find Your People – Jennie Allen
If you are a teenager, college student, adult, this is a essential book to read. It unpacks the lies of loneliness and shares the need for community that is in each and every one of us. We were created for relationship and this books aids in helping you find true close friendships. Jennie Allen is such a great writer in my opinion because of how authentic she is in shooting straight while also researching so well the topics she writes on. This book was recently gifted to me, a people person, and it has already taught me the need for deep rooted relationship because surface level does not sustain. If you are going on a trip soon or just want to add a book to your reading list I highly suggest this one!
Aerie Summer Lights Terry Wide Leg
These green sweats I have also shared on my stories. The green at Aerie is sold out but I have linked the tan and have also linked a similar pair here. These are SO comfy, I wore them to work paired with a fun shirt and literally came home just to keep them on until I got in my real pajamas haha You can pair a top with these to dress it up or wear them as lounge. I will definitely be wearing these into the fall/winter. These pants offer a fun way to add color into your wardrobe. They are comfy and cute, what more could you ask for!
